After the meeting we welcomed Nathan Hansford who talked about the Australian Republican Movement. Nathan gave an animated and passionate talk about the latest proposals which are similar to the way the Irish President is elected as Head of State. He was delighted that some members even attended another ARM meeting the same week in Canberra so there is a lot of interest being shown.
